🎨 Adult Abstract & Mixed Media Art Class

Unwind, explore, and create in our adult abstract and mixed media class — a relaxed, expressive art experience perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike. This class encourages experimentation, play, and personal expression using a wide variety of materials such as acrylic paint, collage, ink, texture tools, mark-making techniques, mixed media layers, and more.

Each week, you’ll learn new approaches to intuitive painting, composition, color, and texture while building confidence in your own creative voice. Whether you’re here for stress relief, technique development, or artistic exploration, this class offers a supportive environment to freely create.

All students receive:

• An art journal for experimentation and notes

• Weekly mixed media materials & tools

• Guided instruction + time to create intuitively

• A relaxed, encouraging space to express yourself

No experience required — just bring your curiosity.

🌈 What We Do in Class

Each class includes:

• A guided abstract or mixed media technique to explore

• Layering, mark-making, textural tools, and color play

• Opportunities for personal expression and intuitive creation

• Mixed media materials such as paper, fabric, ink, molding paste, stamps, collage layers, and more

• A warm, supportive studio space perfect for unwinding mid-week

Projects may span multiple weeks depending on complexity and style direction.

Meets Wednesdays at 7:30–8:30pm:
Jan 21, 28 | Feb 4, 11, 18, 25 | Mar 4, 11, 25 | Apr 1, 8, 15

No Class: March 18 (Spring Break)

Make-Up Class: Wednesday, April 22
End-of-Semester Art Show: Wednesday, May 6
(A beautiful evening featuring student artwork — open to friends & family.)

(Pay once and save on tuition!)

Monthly Payments: $140/month
(You will be sent 3 invoices)

All supplies and registration are included.

Missed classes are not refundable or transferable.
A 2-week notice is required before withdrawing from class.

✏️ Minimum Enrollment

We require a minimum of 5 adults for this class to run. If the minimum is not met, participants will be notified and refunded in full.
