🎨 Adult Watercolor Painting Class

Join us for a peaceful, inspiring hour of watercolor painting each week. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who has always wanted to explore watercolor but felt unsure where to start. Watercolor is a magical medium — when you learn to work with the water, beautiful and unexpected things begin to happen.

Throughout the semester, you’ll learn foundational watercolor techniques while exploring landscapes, florals, still-life subjects, and more. We’ll practice washes, glazing, transparent layers, color mixing, brush handling, and composition — all in a relaxed, encouraging setting.

All supplies are provided, but you’re welcome to bring a favorite watercolor palette, journal, or brushes if you’d like.

🌈 What We Do in Class

Each class includes:

• Warm, beginner-friendly watercolor instruction

• Techniques such as washes, wet-into-wet, glazing, dry-brush, and layering

• Color theory and how to mix harmonious watercolor palettes

• Brush control and material handling

• Step-by-step guidance plus room for personal expression

• A rotating focus on landscapes, florals, fruit, and still life

Projects typically follow multi-week themes, giving you time to build skill, confidence, and flow.

No Class: March 17 (Spring Break) & April 21

Make-Up Class: Tuesday, April 28
End-of-Semester Art Show: Wednesday, May 6
(A beautiful evening of showcasing student work — friends and family invited!)

Full Semester Discount: $375
(Pay once and save on tuition!)

Monthly Payments: $140/month
(You will be sent 3 invoices)

All supplies are included.
Missed classes are not refundable or transferable.

We require a minimum of 5 adult students for this class to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, participants will be notified and refunded in full.
