“Homeschool Artists” Art Classes | Fridays 12 – 1:00pm

Our private art lessons for kids aim to provide a supportive space that can help little artists develop their artistic skills, creativity, and self-expression.

What will students learn?

• Exploring basic art techniques such as color theory, shading, perspective, and brushwork.
• Drawing, sketching, painting, 3D, abstract, process art and more
• Painting with different types of paint, mixing colors, experimenting with different brushes, and creating texture.
• Creative expression is encouraged! We provide a space for kids to experiment and express themselves creatively.
• Students may explore other mediums and tools depending on the project. These may include and are not limited to clay, sculpting, paper mache, fiber arts and mixed media.

What is the structure of the classes?

All of our kids’ classes are project based which means the students will be engaged in a minimum of three projects during the term. However, each project period of four weeks may be filled with multiple pieces. The time spent on each project depends completely on the needs and direction of the class. Art is fluid and we need to be the same! It is suggested that students enter the class as a full semester to secure their spot and also to give the time needed and skills learned on each piece.

*Parents are welcome to drop off students for art class. If parents/guardians stay during class, please note that we have a small studio with excellent acoustics, which can make it difficult for instructors and students to focus with voices and noises in our waiting area. 

Payment Options:

Option1: 3 payments of $140 (auto invoiced) (total $420)

Option 2: Full Semester Registration $375 (Must register by Aug 20th)

FRIDAYS 12 – 1 PM (Students who sign up for the STEM class at 1:15 may bring a snack and take a 15 min break between classes in the break time area before STEM lab starts. Use code homeschool24 to get 10% off your second class enrollment)

This class will meet on these 12 dates : Aug 30 | Sept 6, 13, 20, 27 | Oct 4, 11, 18, 25 | Nov 1, 15, 22 (last class) 

NO CLASS ON THESE WEEKS: Nov 8, Nov 29

Art Show December 10th

One extra class will be available on: Dec 6th *Must sign up to attend*

All supplies and registration are included in the price of the class.

*We ask that a 2 week notice is given before exiting a class. We are sorry but refunds on missed classes or early withdrawal are not available.
