Slow down, get your hands in the clay, and discover the joy of creating something uniquely yours. This six-week pottery class is designed for adults of all experience levels—from complete beginners to those looking to continue building their ceramic skills.

Using real ceramic clay, you’ll learn foundational hand-building techniques while creating beautiful, functional pieces that will be professionally kiln-fired and glazed. Whether you’re looking for a creative outlet, a new hobby, or simply an hour each week to unwind, this class offers a welcoming space to explore the art of ceramics.

What We Do in Class

Each class includes:

• Step-by-step instruction in hand-building pottery techniques
• Pinch pots, slab construction, coil building, sculptural forms, and more
• Surface decoration, texture, carving, and design techniques
• Glazing your finished pieces with professional ceramic glazes
• Professionally kiln-fired pottery ready to enjoy at home

Projects may include mugs, bowls, planters, trays, vases, seasonal décor, and decorative sculptures.

What You’ll Learn

Throughout the session, you’ll build confidence while learning:

• Fundamental hand-building techniques
• How to plan and construct ceramic forms
• Decorative and texturing methods
• Glazing basics and color application
• The complete ceramic process from wet clay to finished piece

No prior pottery experience is required—just a willingness to create and have fun.

A Relaxed, Creative Environment

Our pottery classes are designed to be encouraging, low-pressure, and enjoyable. Whether you come alone or with a friend, you’ll find a welcoming community where creativity is celebrated and perfection isn’t expected.

Because pottery is a multi-step process, some projects will remain at the studio between classes while they dry, are kiln-fired, or await glazing.

Tuition

6-Week Session: $210

All clay, glazes, kiln firing, and materials are included.

Missed classes are not refundable or transferable.
